The International University of East Africa (IUEA) is a private University licensed by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Our multicultural environment consists of a student body and staff who bring on board various experiences and dynamism to the institution.

UEA has various students from diverse nationalities pursuing different programs. The nationalities represented include Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, South Sudan, Somalia, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Nigeria, America, Madagascar, Zambia, Liberia, Chad, Egypt, Malawi, Iran, India, Canada, Philippines, South America, UAE, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Holland, etc. ‘What makes IUEA unique?

We Are International

UEA offers many programs that lead to a Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, and Post-graduate Degrees, as well as, short courses that prepare students for both employment and entry into Degree programs. All Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees are designed to ensure that the students, get maximum expertise in the use of technology; completing their programs armed with(as our mission states)an excellent education that includes practical experience and skills for employment and entrepreneurship.

Community Outreach

The IUEA Project team is continuously engaging its efforts in impacting the communities living in and around our catchment area; by integrating social and environmental concerns, as well as voluntary interaction with stakeholders, in an effort to ‘enhance the quality of life of the local community along with our ongoing project initiatives. Going forward, we wish to expand and extend our sphere by continuing to integrate social and environmental responsibility, reaffirming our commitment to our enduring relationship with our stakeholders

We host a variety of renowned scholars to teach, share research and engage with our students to give them a chance to have a glimpse of what happens in the real world… Our course structure is complemented with a specially tailored class to help enhance communication skills of our students.

Dear students, Greetings from IUEA

We have provided material on Moodle online platform and from what we have heard some of you are worried. This message is to let you know that the material we have uploaded to Moodle is for sharing notes only. The material is NOT provided as a formal teaching and assessment system. To be clear, there will be no coursework and there will be no exams given online. We are providing the material on Moodle so you can use it to review and to do self-learning during the lockdown.
As soon as we know when school will reopen and what the recommendations from the Ministry of Education and from National Council for Higher Education are regarding what to do for the rest of the semester we will let you know.
For now, we are simply using Moodle to share notes. Those of you who have downloaded notes from Moodle can also share with your colleagues.
